I received this pincushion from LisaV. at the MAW group, she did an awesome job

The reindeer is an ornament I stitched for my EGA exchange, I want it!

This is a Lizzie Kate that I stitched for myself, just need to do the finishing

Have a few things to post

These are things I either stitched or received in exchanges, just taking some time to update my blog-finally
the Santa's are stitched by/for myself. I took a class from Betsy Stinner in 2004 and the pinkeep and scissor fab were the projects that I finally put together,The Halloween fob was from Janine - she stitched it for me as part of our Halloween exchange in the SB group

PS exchange from HOE arrived

Today the mailman brought me some goodies from Olga who lives in Louisiana. She stitched a design called "Welcome" and made it into a floss holder. I appreciate the other things she also sent. Thanks Olga

Found treasures

While we were on vacation this summer I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite antique stores and found this green glass "frog" I had been wanting on to put some of my favorite small scissors in and this was just what I wanted. I've put it on top of a green glass plate that I had and then put the whole thing on top of some vintage books that I found at a used bookstore.

One more Halloween Exchange

for me this year. I've had this pattern for a couple of years and decided to stitch it for my friend Nita, who is part of my SB group. There are four sides to the bag, its a Charland Design called Trick or Treat Sacoche.

Another finish for me

This is for a Halloween exchange that I'm in. Its a design by Stacy Nash Primitives called: Hallows Eve Sampler Pillow. I finished it into a tray/box done on 28 count fabric, it measures about 12"x9". Hopefully she will like it.

The first photo is the stitched design, the second photo is the vintage fabric I used for the outside of the tray.

I stitched this PS design

for an exchange that I'm in. Its a really old design, but the first time that I've stitched it. It is over one on 28ct. fabric

I received this beautiful black needleroll

today from Carla V. in the HOE needleroll exchange, this was the first time she stitched on black and my first needleroll that was stitched on black, what a nice addition to my basket

Catchning up

What a busy summer I've had, now is my chance to catch up on things I've stitched and things I've received. First I delivered Summer Ball to my dear daughter in law on July 18th, we had a great time visiting and seeing the movie that she wrote, produced and stared in.

Biscournu Exchange

I"m in the Make a Wish group - I granted someone's wish for a biscournu, the pattern is one by the Workbasket and I used silk threads I had received from an Australian friend.

JANB Freebie

I have two granddaughters that turn

5 in July, so I wanted to make them both a toothfairy pillow. This pattern was free when you purchased the buttons, one is all stitched ready to go, just need to get the second one done.

HOE Freebie Pattern gift

I received this lovely piece in the mail today all the way from Lillie in Malaysia. She stitched this freebie by Windy Willows for me and finished it into a needle book, one photo of the front and the other is of the back.

Blackbird Design

I saw this pattern on another blog and it inspired me to stitch it up. I had this small covered jar in my stash and used the stitch piece on the top.

Patriotic Exchange

I've finished this project for a patriotic exchange I'm in. I finished it off as a basket, will be sad to see it go as I've become quite attached to it!
